Arapaho Tribe

Since the 17th century, the Arapho Tribe have lived on the America West plains. They also call themselves ‘Inuna-Ina’ which means ‘our people.’ Their language is of Algonquin heritage. They began to drift west and they formed an alliance with the Cheyenne. Their life used to consist of corn planting and then they began to follow the great Buffalo herds. The Arapahos live in tipis. They are made out of buffalo skins and are wrapped around lodge poles. They became experts in hunting buffalos. Arapaho also became custom to eating their dogs.
